IP4OS to join Living Data 2025

IP4OS will join forces with leading research projects and institutions at the upcoming Living Data 2025 conference.

Living Data 2025 will take place in Bogotá, Colombia, from 21 to 24 October, and will focus on four core themes:

  • Open data

  • Data integration

  • Biodiversity data application

  • Community engagement and capacity-building

A highlight of the conference will be the four-hour symposium titled “Long Live Biodiversity Data: Knowledge Transfer and Continuity across Research Projects.” This session will be jointly organised by Pensoft, LifeWatch ERIC, and the Naturalis Biodiversity Centre. It will explore the sustainability of scientific outputs as they are produced, shared, and reused across disciplines, institutions, and global initiatives.

On 23 October, IP4OS partner MIK will hold a presentation titled Sustaining Knowledge Across Borders: The IP4OS Framework for Biodiversity Data Continuity and Policy Impact.
