At the final conference of the project iLed – Innovating Learning Design in Higher Education, held on July 1st at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine under the title Learning Design in the AI Era, one of the topics discussed was the importance of educating teachers and other faculty about copyright issues and their role in enabling open science. Within this context, the objectives of the project IP4OS were presented, alongside announcements of upcoming educational initiatives and the development of practical informational materials.
The next event where IP4OS was recently presented was the Horizon Europe Summit 2025, held on July 9th in Zagreb under the theme Cities as Living Labs for Innovation. The project was introduced to a broad community of stakeholders from science, education, industry, and public administration. IP4OS project representative from Croatia, Lea Škorić, participated in the panel discussion, The Pillars of Modern Research: Understanding ORRI and Open Science.
Through these activities, the IP4OS project continues to actively engage in shaping the dialogue around open science and intellectual property as vital pillars for the development of a modern research ecosystem.
